Welcome to the Sullivan County Anxiety Support Group in Sullivan County, PA.
Today, people from all walks of life and every demographics seem to be suffering from more types of anxiety-based disorders than ever before. There are many reasons for this, and there are ways and means to address our individual issues to manage our own anxiety levels.
The SCASG (Sullivan County Anxiety Support Group) will be meeting at the Sullivan County Public Library located at 206 Center St, Dushore, PA 18614 on the first Tuesday of each month barring any Federal holidays from 6pm-8pm. The SCASG is open to adults, only.

Meetings will center around topics that are relevant to anxiety and anxiety disorders, along with tools, techniques, and exercises to assist in management of this often-crippling condition. There are possibilities for guest speakers to participate. All participants are laymen and NOT professional licensed therapists. Anyone seeking professional help if their condition seems too complex to manage is strongly encouraged to engage with a licensed, professional therapist. Find the list of links on this site, ask at a scheduled meeting, or email for information.
All meetings will be strictly confidential. As adults, we should already know not to gossip or mention anyone that we see at meetings or discuss their individual disclosures, but this meeting is serving a very close-knit community and it is absolutely inappropriate to mention whom we see, what they discuss, etc. Which simply means that we must practice confidentiality in order to generate an atmosphere of mutual trust.
